Bodine van der Kogel
Let me introduce myself. My name is Bodine, a 26-year-old abstract artist from The Netherlands. I love embracing the unknown in creating abstract art. I started making art because I work in software and design, but I craved time away from the computer. I needed time to introspect and disconnect from the constant stream of news through our devices. As a child, I loved painting and did it all the time, but I stopped when I hit puberty. At 25, I've reconnected with my passion for art and started creating pieces that incorporate a touch of gold.

My vision
My abstract artworks incorporate gold leaf and metallics, creating a captivating visual effect. Each piece is crafted intuitively, without a predetermined plan, allowing it to evolve naturally. When displayed in natural morning light, the gold elements come to life, offering a mesmerizing experience. I believe in embracing spontaneity, both in art and in life—leaving room for exploration and new possibilities.
